I can't add the Order I need!

If you are unable to add the Order you are seeking to your Visit, typically it is due to the Order not being setup for the species of your Patient.

If there is a SpecVet administrative user available, please ask them to check the Admin Article -  Managing Orderable Library - ensuring that the species for your patient has been selected (see the instructions below).

  1. Go to the Patient Details within the Orderable Library, and change the Breed/Species temporarily to a species that you know has used that Orderable Item (typically Canine/Feline).
  2. Return to your Visit, and create your Order.
  3. Return to the Patient Details, and change the Breed/Species to the proper value.
