Applying A Deposit

How Do I Apply A Deposit On An Open Invoice?

Select the patient from the Clinical Dashboard.

Select the blue "Payment" button under Visit Details located in the center of the Clinical Dashboard screen. 

Confirm you have the correct Client in the first field.

Select the invoice you would like to apply the payment/deposit too.  This will turn the invoice green when selected.

Enter the amount of the Invoice, Payment Type, Drawer, Reference Number.

After all information is entered you will select the green "Submit Payment" button to confirm receipt of payment.  After the payment is applied the balance in the top right corner of the screen will show credit on the account.

This will credit the account without closing the invoice.

How Do I apply A Deposit If There Is Not An Open Invoice?

You will create a new invoice for this visit. 

Select the patient from the Clinical Dashboard.

Select the blue "Payment" button under Visit Details located in the center of the Clinical Dashboard screen.

Confirm you have the correct Client in the first field.

Select the invoice you would like to apply the payment/deposit too.  This will turn the invoice green when selected.

Enter the amount of the Invoice, Payment Type, Drawer, Reference Number.

After all information is entered you will select the green "Submit Payment" button to confirm receipt of payment.  After the payment is applied the balance in the top right corner of the screen will show credit on the account.

This will credit the account without closing the invoice.
